  • 06/05/2015 The access road at Rake Brook Reservoir near Abbey Village is going to be resurfaced starting on Monday 18th May, the work will last until 22nd May. Whilst this work is on-going there will be no public access to this area for health and safety reasons. United Utilies apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. A map showing the area affected is available here
  • 04/09/2014 An update on what is happening in the area is available here
  • 14/02/2014 Unfortunately the funding bid to HLF was unsuccessful.  A summary of what is happening in the area is available for download
  • 10/11/2012Natural England are currently assessing the West Pennine Moors for notification as a SSSI. More information is availabe at http://www.westpenninemoors.com/SSSI_Notification_Project
  • The West Pennine Moors Management Plan 2010-2020 is now complete and available to download
